Meeting called to order at 8:35 a.m. by Chris Dominianni. He encouraged many of the new people in attendance to consider becoming members of the PDA.
Chris announced that the Mayor would not be speaking today as planned.

OLD BUSINESS
Beautification - Chris gave a summary from the beautification committee who met with Conni Cross from Lake Placid for suggestions. The meeting was very informative and Chris asked the members to consider becoming volunteers to work on some of the ideas that came from the meeting.
Mayors Cup - Previous meeting's topic reviewed with more info from Chris regarding the PDA sponsoring a "Taste of Downtown" booth which would feature Downtown restaurants. He said they were working on the same thing for the Farmer's Market. Frank Pabst from the Trinity Soup Kitchen said they would be willing to be involved after the great experience had at the Chili Cook-off.
Website - the new website was announced in that it is ready for review. The address was listed in the agenda which was handed out. Suggestions are to be accepted for inclusion in the site before final release. Concert Series - Tom Lavin has done a presentation at the Rotary AM club on 3/7/06 seeking support for the series. The 15th of April will be the deadline for seeking sponsorships.
Treasurer's Report - Leisa said the current balance was $970.41 with no extra activity this past month.
Guest Speaker - Christine Rotella of the Plattsburgh Community Development Office spoke in place of the Mayor on the controversial Bove housing project planned for the comer of Court and Margaret. Many questions were posed by those in attendance. Topics ranged from net loss of parking, the special assessment district, lease arrangements, tax payments, low-mod income housing grants, etc.
Towards the end of the meeting, Rick Perry (City Building Inspector) gave an update on the Bass Tournaments that are planned in Plattsburgh this upcoming season. He described changes that have been made at the Wilcox dock. He also invited the PDA to get involved with these tournaments.
